Wendy knit herself a Chantal Poncho using Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn Sorry we cut your head off Wendy, but it wasn't the most flattering photo, so we just went with the flattering Poncho shot!

Miruh's Poncho

Oh my, it has been way too long since we posted any photos--or anything here. 
So here we go with dealing with the backlog!

Miruh is showing off her beautiful poncho, knit with Ella Rae superwash, tweedy look.  We like the unusual shape of this poncho, lots of knitting but it's ALL worth it.  Right!?  

Sidhe Haps

Mary wanted to be beheaded for this photo, but couldn't take her head off without losing some of this soooo beauuuuuutiful Sidhe Hap, knit in class, using Malabrigo Rasta and handspun yarn.

Wendy was in the same Sidhe Hap class and knit her absolutely gorgeous Hap with Alpaca and two different skeins of handspun with stunning results, don't you agree?  We're impressed.

The Sidhe Hap (like the Chantal Shawl) is Roisin's design and pattern.

Brenda's Poncho

Brenda's gorgeous Azule poncho for her 2 year old granddaughter.  Nice work.  She used Mega Rustic for this one--a quick summer knit for the well dressed toddler's fall wardrobe.

Hunter's Birthday Lundie

Our Loopy Lounge boy, Hunter, wearing his "First Birthday" Lundie Hoodie. His knitting mum, Hillary, has been knitting Lundie Hoodies non-stop.  This one was knit in Chunky Marble.  Suits him and we love that it will fit him for awhile.

Kitty's Lundie Hoodie

Another Lundie Hoodie.  This one knit in Chunky Marble by Kitty for her grandbaby.  Already in the mail.  First time we've seen it in these colours and we're loving it.  Congrats Kitty!  And lucky granddaughter.

Maria's Point Poncho

 Maria is proud of her "What's The Point? Poncho, (and so she should be) This one is knit in Chunky Marble.  A bit outside her usual choice of pink or purple, but she's happy with it and so are we!

Gloria's Point

What's the Point Poncho - Coast Couture Designed-and-Knit by Roisin.  Now cozy in a new home with Roisin's very dear friend and hero Gloria Lemay.  This yarn was Shale, Loop-de-Loop.  Turns out it's the perfect yarn for this design.

Patti's Wraps

Patti's Texada Time Wrap beautifully knit with Elspeth Lavold Silky Wool XL AND then Jill's gorgeous buttons added.  Stunning!

Patti's other Texada Time Wrap, this one with cotton and alpaca by Mirasol and hand made wooden buttons.  Love the casualness of this one.

Justine's Texada Time Wrap

Roisin's Grand-Niece Justine in her newly acquired Texada Time Wrap to show off for her friends.  "Does Grandma know what kind of leaf this looks like?  Has anyone told her?"

Busy Hillary

Hillary has been very busy.  She has made this cute sweater, knit top down using up 100% wool left overs. Love the special look she achieved on the sleeves.....totally cool Hillary!

Also....Hillary is now our expert on Lundie Hoodies.  This is the first one knit with this vibrant red Chunky Marble. It looks great.

Carmel's Poncho

Carmel knit this cozy poncho for her daughter Monica, using Galway 100% wool, chunky and one strand of mohair to create this gorgeous garment.

Mary's Lundie

This holiday weekend should see quite a few precious grandaughters running around Powell River, Lund and other parts of this region in their new "Lundies"

Mary's latest "Lundie" for her grandaughter - she incorporated a funky yarn around the bottom.  The trim looks like flowers.  We didn't know that before, but now we do!  Love it!

Lundie News

The Lundie Puddlestompin' Poncho patter is now available for purchase on www.ravelry.com! 

Our Lundie Knit-A-Longs are Fridays from 1-3pm - $10.00 drop-in fee

This way you get the pattern for free.  The Knit-a-Long is the class.  You can attend as many as you need and drop in when you want to.

Our current crop of Lundies are coming a-long.  Helen's nearly done-- just sleeves still to do and trim around the hood.  Looking too cute already!  She used Chunky Marble denim colour for this one.

Arlene's is progressing, in spite of the markers - they keep popping off and running away.  Looks like she's getting them under control and we'll see a lot more progress next week.

And we are waiting (wa-aaa-ting....) for Dorelle's photo of her finished Lundie-on-granddaughter in Vernon.   

Roisin's Lundie

Roisin recently finished this green "Lundie" which will probably fit a 3-4 yr old.  It was knit with Diamond Luxury Andes Hand Paint, (the variegated)  100% wool and Diamond Select Chunky Roving (the solid colour).

Friday Knit Along

Brenda's "Lundie" For Aliza

Brenda's pride and joy, her granddaughter Aliza, is wearing her Lundie, knit by grandma. Aliza is 8 months old and this Lundie should fit her until she's up and running around. And of course Aliza is wearing blue, because.... Blue and Brenda. 

But for now, she's strapped in. Look how well the Lundie works in the car seat!
