Aren't These Adorable!

Awww, these are so cute. Brigitte made these from Galway Worsted, 100% wool.  As you can see, there are two, but it's hard to tell that one is a lovely cardigan for a granddaughter with a matching one for her doll. I think we need a photo of them wearing their cardis.   We really like the stitch used in this cardigan.  Kinda criss-cross but making it firmer and denser.  Interesting.  Brigitte scores!

Elly's Doll Clothes

Other Donna's Doll

This is not Shawl Donna but another Donna--also one of our regular classy knitters.  This Donna has 12 (we think) grandchildren and they each have received one of these dolls, knit lovingly by Grandma, boys included. Isn't she cute, squishy and cuddly too, just the right size for a little hand to hold.  Lucky grandkids!
And Roisin doesn't remember the name of this doll, please add it in the comments, if you're out there, Donna!

Knitting Patterns For Dolls

Recently, Christine Fergusson from Ottawa contacted Roisin. She wrote, "I am a Canadian designer who designs & creates unique doll knitting patterns. These designs are suitable for dolls 16" to 18" in length & fit antique dolls as well as popular dolls such as the Maplelea Doll, American Girl Doll, Corolle Doll, Baby Born & other suitably sized dolls.

Almost exclusively, I use yarns by Sandnesgarn. I find it to be the perfect yarn for my outfits & I use both Lanett & Mandarin Petit."

JoLynne's Knitted Doll

 Our new cashier - don't you love her?  She was created by JoLynne.   Sirdar Snuggly was used for her dress, and other odds and ends work in perfectly. But she needs a name! (If she had red hair, I would say "Anne" after Anne of Green Gables)
