Roisin's Cowichan-style Sweater
Roisin's "made to order" Cowichan style sweater using Briggs & Little
Roving yarn. This literally took a month of Sunday's to complete! It
will have a zipper installed by a seamstress. And then we will post another photo.

This sweater has had a chapter added to it's story.
The aunt of the recipient of this sweater drove to Great Balls of Wool from Edmonton to purchase yarn to make her own Cowichan Style Sweaters.
Gloria had taken Cowichan Style Knitting Classes in Edmonton but was determined to come here to buy her yarn. So determined that breaking the differential on her truck en route didn't deter her.
A glowing Gloria left with bags of yarn she says were a 'steal of a deal'. What she paid $10.99 her for would have cost her $30 in Edmonton.
