Sylvie's Stupendous Slippers
Sylvie used one strand of Sirdar Fresco, a nylon bumpy yarn, to reinforce and make
the soles non-slip. Isn't she talented! OMG gorgeous, wouldn't you say??
Sylvie said "The 1st pair was for my daughter on Christmas, the 2nd pair was for my Step Mom's birthday, the 3rd pair was for my Mom's Birthday, the 4th pair was for my girlfriend who bought the pattern to make these slippers, and finally the 5th pair was for me with some of the left over wool, which I love wearing."
And so nicely photographed, Sylvie!

Joan's Prezzies
Joan has made really lovely Christmas gifts. The Purple Red-Riding hood bootees knit in Galway
Chunky, and Fan Gauntlet Gloves in Noro Silk Garden Lite are done! Yay Joan!
She said she "sweated blood" during the making of these gorgeous gloves. Just imagine all the
fresh new sparkly brain cells Joan now has after such a workout!
It's all Roisin's fault as it is her gauntlet class, and her pattern. She does like her challenges....and is happy to share these challenges with others! Want a challenge? There will be another Fan Gauntlet class in the New Year. Sign up now.

Grown-Up Booties
Miruh has been knitting grown-up booties for her daughter. We say daughters are never too old for booties. Miruh doubled the yarn to make these chunky. The yarn is 51 % Merino so warmth is guaranteed--and the colour is so cheerful. Lucky Amanda!

Brenda's Felted Slippers
Brenda's slippers knitted for the Felted Slipper class she is teaching. The style is the original classic style of Fiber Trends. Great colours and cozy slippers. She used Galway 100% wool.
And in the foreground is one of Carola's slippers, made with Alpaca, not felted yet. We are waiting to see how that works out. Wonderfully, no doubt!

Sydney's Many Slippers (And One Pair Of Socks)
Look what happens when Roisin and Lynda work their teaching magic! Sydney took Roisin's Cowichan style sweater class and made a couple and then branched off into Cowichan style socks, and then on to Lynda's felted slipper class and then went on a felted slipper making
binge....that is a lot of happy feet!

Lynda's Best Ever Knitted Felted Slippers
Roisin thinks these are the bestest ever Knitted Felted Slippers by Lynda.
They were a special order, and the customer chose the colours. The yarn used is Diamond Luxury Galway Heathers. The soles are too beautiful to walk on, and we think owner of this pair of slippers should learn to walk on his hands!

Berry Beautiful Slippers
Lynda's Knitted Felted Slippers Class is winding down and the herd of slippers is all in the process of being felted. These are Wendy's so beautiful blue and black ones, a first for this colour combination Roisin thinks. (And it looks like she is correct...no photos of blue & black ones in the archives!)
Lynda's new creation using the Fiber Trends original slippers pattern. This one knit with Malabrigo on the top and Diamond Worsted on the sole. Neat shape too.
