Carole's Colours

My, what a stretch of gray skies we've had. We need some colour so let's start with Carole's beautiful crochet afghan, using Diamond Luxury Chroma.  Her color combos always the richest--this is gorgeous.

Debbie's Afghan

We are all totally in awe of Debbie's FINALLY finished afghan.  We won't tell you how long it took, because now that it's finished, it doesn't matter. Debbie is proud and so are we.  She knit this with Marble Chunky and one strand of Diamond Luxury Merino Superwash DK, so this afghan will be cuddled and cuddly for years to come.

Patti's Afghan

Patti proudly displaying her almost finished afghan.  She had one of the GREAT BIG BALLS of Mohair, in the pinky whitish shades and it hadn't worked out for a few projects she'd started on.  Brenda suggested using Drops Big Delight in the variegated pink shades and it's working perfectly.  Patti believes she's still going to have mohair left at the end of this.  The curse of the BIG BALL!

For Donna's Grandchild

Donna is covering yet another grandchild with yet another of her beautiful afghans.   Roisin says this one is her favourite (she says that about each one).  Donna knit it with Drops Big Delight, 100% wool, handwash.  Rich earthy colours.

Donna's Very Own Afghan

After making many afghans for family members, Donna has knit another gorgeous one but this one's for HER!   She knit with Drops Big Delight 100% Wool.  This pattern just works in every yarn we have in the store, and Donna is proving it!  It's gorgeous.

Donna's Bright Blue "This"

Another of Donna's lucky grandchildren will be getting a gift of this (Roisin did not say what "this" is, I just realized...might be an afghan, might be a sweater...an afghan, I think).  She used another of Odin's Superwash colours.  Turned out so well.  She's moved on to another yarn for the next one.  Donna has used the same pattern for all, and it knits up well in all the different yarns she's used.

Donna's Afghan

Donna's latest effort - another wonderful heirloom afghan for a lucky grandchild. Donna has definitely mastered this pattern. It works up nicely in superwash Odin by Viking,   We're looking forward to the next one!

Donna B's Afghan

Donna B finished her fantastic reversible Afghan (we have pattern at the store).  This one is made with Viking Odin yarn, Superwash.  Previously, Donna has made two Afghans with Chunky Marble with the same pattern.  She's now making two more with Viking Odin.

Judith's Afghan

See, it is afghan week here...this is Judith's  'almost-an-afghan' - made with superwash Viking Odin (the circles) and superwash Diamond Luxury aran (the white). Very fun.
It reminds me of the old game mat for Twister...now, that dates me!

Miruh's Afghan

It must be "Afghan Week...!"
Miruh's been busy - this is a portion of her full-body Afghan - knit with Sirdar Family Worsted and using a GBOW pattern which shows how simple garter and stocking stitches can be so effective.

Gary's Afghan

Gary made this big-needle, big-yarn Afghan in no time and it looks fantastic!  He used Sirdar Big Softie and did an I cord cast-off edge.
