There's a big knitting event happening down the coast from us in Seattle, Friday, April 5, through Sunday, April 7, 2013. It might make a great spring getaway.
Vogue Knitting LIVE is billed as "a one-of-a-kind, experiential knitting event. Take master-level hand-knitting workshops on fit and shaping, pattern writing, lace, socks, and more. Shop the Marketplace, which showcases new yarn and accessories from around the world. Watch non-stop designer fashion shows and browse the knitted art gallery."
Registration has just opened for two packages for the event, Sleepless in Seattle and Space Needle Weekender Packages. Other packages and individual classes/lectures will be available for purchase soon.

Vogue Knitting magazine celebrated the 30th anniversary in 2012 of the current Vogue Knitting and the 80th anniversary of the original Vogue Knitting. Vogue Knitting LIVE was launched in 2011.
