Happy Cowlidays

Alane's easy lacy cowl, made with Marble Chunky by James C Brett, with two strands knit together--and we're still trying to figure out how it striped so well....a woolly mystery.  The yarn is 100% Acrylic, comes in a big 200g ball (just over 300 metres), and Roisin has it in several attractive colourways. 

This is a great pattern for learning to knit lace patterns....fast and only 4 rows of pattern. You can find it in the Holiday 2012 issue of Knitsimple magazine. And if your giftee does not like a cowl, sew up the top and bottom and make it a pillow cover!
