Scarves For William's Granddaughters

Beautiful scarves, difficult knitting.  This is called double knitting*or tube knitting, Roisin thinks.  William, one of Powell River's highly skilled 'guy knitters', made these for his grand-daughters in their university colours.  Lucky girls! And beautifully knitted, William.

Wikipedia defines double knitting as "a form of knitting in which two fabrics are knitted simultaneously with two yarns on one pair of needles."
