Here is my last, leftover, post about Roisin's and my participation in the Knit City event a couple of weeks ago. I forgot that Roisin's partner, Phil, took some great photos of the Olsen family's booth, Salish Fusion Knitwear, which is the public-facing part of their company, West Saanich Woolworks.
Sylvia Olsen is, of course, the well-known author, speaker, and promoter of the long traditions of Salish knitting, of which Cowichan sweaters are one example. She spoke at Knit City's opening night event, and with her daughter Joni, staffed the Salish Fusion Knitwear booth.
